The new mk2 CME content-to-cover matching system for CP Bourg BB3002 single-clamp perfectbinders ensures production integrity while performing book-of-one productions on your binder. It's fast, reliable, integrates seamless in your current or new binding setup and works without the need for costly reprints when detecting an incorrect bookblock vs. cover combination!

The system is applicable for both EVA and PUR glue devices and comes with all the needed hardware and pre-installed software included in a well documentated kit. Mounting is easy and can be done within a 2 - 2.5 hour timeframe. Operation is based on 2 high-speed barcode scanners which are controlled by an innovative 10.4" full-color touchscreen and our special interfacing ControlBox - the ControlBox is an enclosure which contains the needed hardware to achieve the binder-to CME connection.. Just mount both readers/sensors with the included brackets, plug the cables into our ControlBox, startup the accompanied PC and you're ready to rumble! It is just as simple as that....

The system will detect mismatches, wrongly placed covers or damaged barcodes and will stop the binder safely before the cover is being creased - which eliminates the need for reprints! The system is by default equipped with XML based data output of processed jobs, this data is stored into a shared location on the PC and can be used for realtime monitoring tasks from local or remote locations.


Our kits include a 64 bit PC with pre-installed CME software. The app is controled by a 10.4" touchscreen, mounted on a powdercoated stand with non-marking magnetic feet. The easy to use interface covers a 2-page setup with touch sensitive buttons, sliders and visual representation of the actual proces.		CME will detect mismatches lightning fast and stops your BB3002 binder safely before the cover is being creased! A message is shown on both the CME app and BB3002 touchscreen.. Just remove the wrong cover - press OK on CME - reset your binder and you're ready to go again!		CME will also detect wrongly placed covers, damaged barcodes or forgotten bookblock scans resulting in a safe stop of your binder. These failures will also be detected before creasing so there is no need for costly and time consuming reprints!


The system is equipped with XML based data output of processed jobs. This output can be enabled or disabled simply by sliding the touch sensitive slider on the infopage. Data is stored for both matches and mismatches including content and a timestamp for remote monitoring usage.		Bookblocks can be marked with both 1D (code39, code128) and 2D codes (Data Matrix, QR and Aztec). Covers demands a linear code (code39 or code128). Positioning templates are supplied with every kit for both the bookblock and cover.		Our KentieCS ControlBox is the heart of the interface between our software, hardware and your BB3002. The ControlBox is a plug-and-play interfacing kit, equipped with only A-class components, it can be used for both 50Hz and 60Hz environments.
